Landscape photography

Accessible locations for everyday photography.
Images shown here are from the roadside or a gentle walk and are suitable for all with moderate mobility.

what’s it all about?

Keen amateur photographer Alastair Macdonald makes no pretence of being a great photographer; he just wants to encourage people to get out and take photographs.

He enjoys his hobby despite having had M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) also known as CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) for nearly 25 years and now has a form of Long Covid on top.

He accepts he cannot access some of the fantastic places other photographers can reach, but he endeavours to capture great shots anyway

Many of the images within are geo-located, so you can see where they are and head there at your leisure and hopefully get some great images. Others are simply ideas for you to follow in your own local area.
